Terms & Conditions – Autoverhuren Estanista B.V.

1. General Terms
By renting a vehicle from Autoverhuren Estanista B.V., you agree to all terms stated herein. These conditions apply to all bookings made directly or via third parties.
2. Driver Requirements
Minimum age: 23 years old
Valid driver’s license must be presented
An international driver’s license is recommended for non-Latin or non-Dutch characters
Driver must have held a license for at least 2 years
3. Rental Period
Minimum rental period is 2 days
Daily rates apply to 24-hour periods
Late return fees may apply if not arranged in advance
4. Payment & Deposit
Full payment is due at pickup or online confirmation
A security deposit (cash or card) is required
Accepted payment methods: Cash, Debit Card, Credit Card, Bank Transfer
5. Insurance
All cars come with basic third-party insurance. Full coverage is available upon request at an additional daily cost.
Insurance does not cover damage caused by:
- Off-road use (unless with approved 4×4 vehicle)
- Negligence or driving under the influence
- Unauthorized drivers
- Use of the vehicle for commercial purposes
6. Fuel Policy
Cars are delivered with a full or partially full tank and must be returned at the same level. A refueling fee may apply otherwise.
7. Mileage
Unlimited mileage applies unless otherwise specified. We encourage you to explore Curaçao freely!
8. Pickup & Drop-off
Free delivery/pick-up within Willemstad and Hato Airport
Please be on time for scheduled handovers to avoid delays
9. Vehicle Condition & Maintenance
Vehicles are delivered clean and in good working condition
Renter is responsible for maintaining general cleanliness and checking tire pressure and fluids if renting long-term
Any new damage must be reported immediately
10. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup
50% refund for cancellations between 24–48 hours
No refund for same-day cancellations or no-shows
No refund for early returns
11. Use of Vehicle
Vehicles are not allowed for drag racing, off-roading (unless 4×4 approved), or transporting illegal substances
Vehicles may not leave Curaçao under any circumstance
12. Roadside Assistance
We offer basic roadside assistance. In case of breakdown, contact us immediately at +599 9 525 4358
13. Insurance & Coverage
Total Insurance and All Risk Insurance are not always the same. Coverage can vary depending on the rental company and specific policy terms.
At Estanista Car Rental, we offer fully insured rentals with transparent protection (including collision, theft, and damage coverage). Some options may include zero excess/deductible, while others could have limited exclusions or a deductible.
Always review the exact insurance details provided in your booking confirmation or at pickup to understand what is covered under your selected plan.
14. Privacy & Data
Your personal data will be used solely for rental processing and communication purposes. We do not share data with third parties without your consent.
